The Licence Checking Process
1. You provide us with the details of each driver that requires a driving licence check.
2. Drivers can either scan the front and back of their driver’s licence via our app, or they can do it online by providing their details.
3. All drivers will be asked to complete the DVLA Declaration to give their consent to the driving licence check. This consent is valid until the employee ceases to drive in connection with the company or three years after the consent.
4. All e-consents are verified by the DVLA and the check is returned in seconds. Employees can also withdraw their consent at any time.
5. TMC chases for incomplete checks. Mileage capture users will not be able to make mileage claims until they have consented to the licence check, adding a further incentive.
